Diane R. Lenkowsky
Diane is a civil litigation attorney who has taken on a wide range of litigation matters, including general commercial litigation, real estate litigation, personal injury defense, insurance coverage litigation, and representing commercial landlords.
Before law school, Diane worked at the Arizona Legislature where she gained direct experience crafting legislation, presenting bills to lawmakers, and working with stakeholders to explain the impact of proposed laws. Today, Diane continues to work with municipalities and local governmental entities to draft legislative proposals and monitor legislation that is of interest to her clients. Diane also has experience on both sides of the public records law and assists governmental clients in responding to public records requests.
Diane also assists Oregon employers in developing effective handbooks, advising on compliance with the Affordable Care Act, navigating HIPAA issues, responding to BOLI complaints, and classifying exempt and non-exempt employees.
Diane earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Arizona State University where she interned for the Arizona Legislature and her J.D. from Lewis and Clark College, Northwestern School of Law. In her spare time, Diane volunteers with animal rescue organizations and enjoys spending time with her own rescued animals, Moose and Thumbs.
